Emohan Poem by Franz Of Lion

Emohan

Amidst the crowd looking for an escape
On something that visits me everyday.
A visit from a nefarious shade
Surrounds me with its dreary darkness,
Turning my night completely starless.
Imbued with darkness that wears me down,
Deafens me like cacophony of sound.
Drowning in the cesspool of darkness,
Making life seem so very hopeless.
Suddenly I feel a calming breeze,
A moment that I don't want to cease.
Something that puts joy in my smile
Without wearing the mask of lie.
After the gentle breeze travels far,
My exposed face is seen full of scars.
The gloominess that one can tell,
Excuses that I cannot sell.
My crest falls all the time
When the dark catches me on sight.
Forgive me for all the times that I've wasted,
For I feel the light had already faded.
An impalement that tortures me everyday,
A meaningless life that I would have walked away..
