Ellipses Poem by bradley blue jay phipps

Ellipses

the language of poetry is mathematics.
it is the language of death and life.
of love and fear? hate and mercy...
and so the cliche goes on... (i am
addicted
to ellipses, you see...) .

life is a dot, and i am third.
my life is a dot at the end
of the ellipse added on
to the # (33.)
Graham's # (look it up!)

it is, also, the sum of the
equation of 2+2=5 - a {n
un} truth
i have felt this was true
my whole breathing
life even
when they beat it
out of me!

but now i will write without
symbols of any kind to
give the words an
equal attempt at
the ellipse that
is a product
of myself
of me
me
