Elephant Grass At Bay Poem by Manonton Dalan

Elephant Grass At Bay

sun bathing nakedness
of a lone tree by sea
turning to faded white
yet so smooth to touch
lips of nursing child
grace from heaven above

distance vibrating blades
of grass braving breeze
teasing my mind's query
i smile 'what have you? '
we are same rooted foot
writing on endless space
