Eldarilav- singer make a woo sentence
For the beauty girl of other settlement,
But the bride given for another
Her father and mother are trampling the love.

And they strewed the poison in the wine
And gave for the verse creator on the fun wedding.
And, though the deception he understand, all the same
The horn he drained, like a mountaineer do.

He did as the adat commanded, -
To done that the elders told.
And falling near the door,
He was not stand up, it said.

It seem to me: I drink the horn also,
Although I know there mixed the poison

Красавицу певец Эльдарилав
Посватал из селения чужого,
Но выдали невесту за другого
Ее отец и мать, любовь поправ.

И на веселой свадьбе яд в вино
Подсыпали и дали стихотворцу.
И, хоть обман он понял, все равно
Рог осушил, как подобает горцу.

Он поступил, как повелел адат, –
То исполнять, что старшие велят.
И, рухнув возле самого порога,
Он так и не поднялся, говорят.

Мне кажется: я тоже пью из рога,
Хотя и знаю – там подмешан яд.
