El Cuerpo y El Alma

Dijo el Cuerpo: Yo me toco
Y yo me oigo y gusto y veo,
Y por tanto en mí sí creo,
Y hasta allí no me equivoco.
¿Pero el alma?... Ese es el coco
Nunca oído y nunca visto:
Y un fantasma desprovisto
De estos medios que yo tengo
De sentirme, no convengo
En que exista cual yo existo.
