Of yesterdays sorrow
Shadows thriving
In the too nearing morrow

Unanswered prayers
I immerse myself here
The song of your heart
An unblemished tear

Darkness whispers
I know not its name
The light is now fading
A wind to my flame

Reaching for hope
I imagine your smile
Refusing to leave me
Approaching green mile

I follow the promise
Engraved in your lips
To emerge from the dark
The morrows eclipse
