Ebb Tide (Hexastichon)



The sun sets in tranquil, surrendered silence
Majestic in its beauty and magnificence,
As the moon ushers in the ebony gray,
Unfolding the repose of a departing short day,
Like this end we leave life as those of us before
We find only sea waves faithful... they return to the shore.

Wow such a creative poem wonderfully crafted in imagery and comparison. The last lines were even more superb in connotation. And I learnt a new form, a hexastichon woah great. Pls do comment my latest poem called POETRY COMMENTARY EXPOSURE.......

Sea waves are really faithful. They give alert for life. Sunset surrenders in silence with majestic beauty. Returning to shore is ultimate act. After birth death comes and while we keep mind to unite with God we recover from pain of birth and death cycle. Wonderful poem this is...
