Eating Icecream With My Grandkids Poem by Loyd C Taylor Sr

Eating Icecream With My Grandkids

There’s something very special,
For me it’s always a treat,
When I sit in a booth having fun
Eating ice cream with my grandkids.

It never fails that I eat too much;
Just maybe I sit a bit too long, but
Oh, well, I still enjoy the time spent
Eating ice cream with my grandkids

Then, when I’m too old to get about,
I can sit and reminisce of the times
When I sat in a booth having fun
Eating ice cream with my grandkids.
