Easy Nights Poem by ruby cunningham

Easy Nights

Twilight glow of Heaven above
Starlit nights looking down on love
Gentle breezes over passion spent
The night winds of nature's vent
Soft sighs with trembling breath
The warmth of a loving caress
Easy nights spent next to you
Touching each other as lovers do
The whisper of skin on skin
This is where love begins
Lying here on satin sheets
Our hearts meeting beat for beat
Your lips warm upon my breast
My hand lain across your chest
What a story our hearts could tell
Of these feelings we know so well
Now we close our eyes to sleep
Hearts aglow with true love sweet
Night winds of nature's vent
Softly blowing over passion spent
