The blanket of the earth
looked more than beautiful today
in their deep blue colour
the lazily lay up in the sky
waiting upon the sun to
warm them up and lay
them straight from their
haphazard form.

what holds them up there
no body can tell
who tells them now wear
that colour, red blue, black, white?
its all quite amazing, mesmerizing and a mystery.

I love you blankets of the earth
i love watching you
change formation and colour
you bring joy into, my life
oh earth's blanket
