Early Works - Volcano Poem by David Harris

Early Works - Volcano

Rating: 5.0

The earth shakes and trembles
breaking the crust wide
bringing terror to thousands
as it swallows them alive.
Then roars like a thousand elephants
all trumpeting as one
as it rises like a mountain
to meet the rising sun.
Then with the force and fury,
no man could imitate
its inner blood boils over
in the form of a river of hate.
Running like a river of blood
destroying everything it its path.
It is something everymen should know
a volcano and its wrath.
