Early Works - Titles Poem by David Harris

Early Works - Titles

A song from the south
a rhythm in the rain
teardrops like raindrops
on my pillow stain
time will ease the pain
as this ole heart breaks again.

Something in the wind
a song I’ve never heard before
calls to me, call to me
that there is a love finer
a love for me that’s true
she is just waiting close at hand.

Time of temptation
draws me back
to the line I drew
the face I should forget,
but who’s spell
is weaved around me.

Authors Note:
This poem was an experiment created by using titles from previous works I had all ready written both in poem and in song.
