Early In The Morning When The Sun Glances Through The Window Poem by Gert Strydom

Early In The Morning When The Sun Glances Through The Window

Early when the sun glances through the window
there are birds singing of joy,
while they wait that I feed them some seed,
it's as if the flowers are jumping higher,
when I catch the open sky's cobalt-blue,
the glory of the sun falling on my skin,
it's as if I can trust like a child,
everywhere I see small wonders without number,
when the prettiest flowers bloom in my garden.
