Each Other’s Words
We sit around a table,
listening to poems spoken,
on different subjects.
Each one has a message
for each of us sitting there.
Each of us seeing,
something different,
in each other’s words.
You put it perfectly, succinctly. That is just how it was and just how it ought to be. t x
And that what makes poetry so theraputic, each walks away with something different from what they have just read. Well written David...marci. :)

That's what I love about reading poetry.......You take away something from it....not always what the writer had intended...but none the less...it fulfilling all the same
