Dying Hour Of Need Poem by Capri DiTori

Dying Hour Of Need

Apparent heartless emotion
Is this a crime of passion or,
An act of blissful ignorance?
Even as both opposed,
I can't right now accept either.
Not in this dying hour of need!
You'll just make me cry
Oh' if only it was my own desire
Yet again, cruelty isn't even the word
As I'm stuck here trying to find excuses
Denying; lying time after time to myself
Only reason from some far pit beyond...
