Dwindling Night Poem by Pijush Biswas

Dwindling Night

Dwindling night-
A thousand stars far away
Twinkling slight
In return of the day.

Dwindling night-
A hundred birds awake,
Twittering bright
Fly flock after flock.

Dwindling night-
Under a shadowy thatch
A twenty sheeps bleat
Sounding unmatch.

Dwindling night-
Towards the blue heaven,
In morning light
Dancing a peahen.
