Dusty Lace Poem by Dorian Petersen Potter

Dusty Lace

When the stars at night,
Melt like paper all the the sun,
And shadows show their way,
The sky becomes rosy and dusty lace

And I'm lost again in dreams,
With wings adorned all in gold,
Oasis from a world filled of pain,
And dreams that can't last with all the sun

As shadows gathering, show their way,
Shining with their flashing lights,
Tender dreams awaken within me,
As skies become again a dusty lace....
