I tried everything I can do
to show to you how much I love you
I bent over backward
just to get you to move forward

You said you needed just a little time
but when love comes in it doesn't wait
some things in life are hard to find
you turn around sometimes and it could be too late
if you look at it with eyes left blind

You got to see the good that comes out of the bad
and let it drown away the memories that left you sad
dry your sorrows and tears of yesterday

Grasp hold of what comes around today
because the past you can't rewind
so you just need to leave it all behind
and start over with love that's true
let it shine and come your way
because I'm offering you dreams of new
