Drunk Song On The Stone Fish Lake Poem by Luo Zhihai

Drunk Song On The Stone Fish Lake

★ Drunk Song on the Stone Fish Lake

☆ Poetry by Yuan Jie (719-772, Tang Dynasty, China)
☆ Translation by Luo Zhihai (1954-, China)

Stone-fish lake, like Dongting Lake
Summer water full and Junshan Hill green
Treat a hill as a wine goblet, water as a wine pond
Drinkers distinctly sitting on the island
Strong winds set off waves for days
But can not prevent shipping wine
I hold a long gourd ladle and sitting on Baqiu
Drink with you, clear our sorrow away
