Drunk Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Drunk

Drunk

With his cane
John walked in
In red cloak

I am drunk
As I was at the pool
In Texas

“I am not”
I exclaimed
“I will walk down this line”

I could not
So smiled and went out
I had lost

I had hit the 8 ball
Not white ball
I was drunk

Now again
Same goes on
I have fun

I wish though
I was not all alone
Kids were around

I am drunk
So close to the edge
I see God

Like Sufi
I make love
In Sama...

‘I listen’ with the Dhikr ‘remember’
