Marie Daniels

Drunk (2) - Poem by Marie Daniels

I get
goosebumps all the time
and my ears always
begin to blush
and all the music
is about you.

I can't
look into your eyes
because they're so blue
and piercing and
if I meet yours
you'll probably see
the adoration in
mine.

Poet's Notes about The Poem

More like prose. Had a few too many I suppose.
