27.THE DRUM-DR.K.G.B.

Little Lakshmi has come;
With her magic drum;
(For the summer vacation)
To stunt an’ tranquillize
Her poor Achchachchan;
To play a thousand notation;
To calm (or warm?):
My inmost Sum!

She may astonish me;
With her query;
My eternal worry;
The Merry;
She may make me
The Dumb;
Too the Deaf!

The drumming I hear,
The spelling of the smear,
The Liar Thee, I swear;
O my Dear!
