Drowning Without A Drain Poem by samatha squiers

Drowning Without A Drain

The stinging tears,
all those fears,
He left my heart
With such a start,
It killed me,
Like a saw to a tiny tree
Maybe one day,
We'll all be okay.
But till that day comes,
I will be taking Tums,
For the pain,
The stain,
Drowning without a drain.
