Drip Poem by JAMES T. ADAIR

Drip

The little puppy is becoming a woman
She doesn't understand any of it
She's been rehearsing her love instinct for months
Has seemed intriqued and seems more than fit

She's been biting the male on his ear
mounting him, coaxing him
then subsequently presenting her rear
and he's been trying to avoid her antics out of fear

But now she morphs from puppy to lady
Practicing her courtship with a nip
Why does it seem so noteworthy...it
womanhood arrived today, with a single drip

She's a beautiful chocolate/Tan Daschound
so spunky, active and sincere
Her antics suddenly seem more clear
A new chapter in her life is here
