Drifting Poem by Etienne Charilaou

Drifting

A raft amid the blank ocean
I see in bobbing motion.
Beneath the blazing orb
Sun energies like a sponge absorb.

Sharks a whale devour
A toil of many an hour.
Life lingers on
Before it's gone.
