Dreams Realised
We all have dreams
of places we yearn to see,
I was lucky this year
when my dreams came true,
but was also lucky in other way
as several other dreams came true.
Having that dream now realised
other dreams I want
to make come true.
I know in my heart they will
and it will only take a matter of time.
Until then I will enjoy
everyday that I have
waiting for the next dream to be realised.
Most enjoyable David. If we didn't have dreams, then that old saying 'Everyday's the same' would surely prevail. There are one or two which we are waiting for at the moment. Ha Ha Best Regards Steve
Lovely piece David, what I truly like is the way that you acknowledge poetically that your dreams have come true...not many people actually do that even in prose! !
