Dreams Poem by Jabulani Mzinyathi

Dreams

bereft of dreams
dreams bashed by truncheons
dreams under the jackboots
jack boots of the philistines
dreams in solitary confinement
dreams whimpering for freedom
that is the healing of this nation

Good words Jabulani! Yes, what else is there for Zimbos to write of but the maltreated and the millionaires, the many and the few..?

A dream is hope, without it we cannot cope. The healing of the nations - keep in expectation For without fail, it will come true. Are you from Zim?
