Dreams Poem by Crystal Pierce

Dreams

The time of day
that should stay,
is actually night,
because it makes me feel alright.

My dreams keep me alive,
and they thrive.
They keep me awake,
because of the sweet feelings they make.

They make all things sweet.
There's always amazing dream people to meet.
If I wanted to
I could make them come true.

My dreams are of different things.
Like bees that don't sting.
Dreams that make me giggle and laugh
Some to demolish social studies and math.

I can be the hero,
and what I say goes.
I dream of being the president
but always a local resident.

They keep me wondering
and they always keep pondering.
Some tell me to go past beyond
and some tell me to jump in cold ponds.
