Dream World Poem by David Harris

Dream World

Rating: 3.8

Each night as we sleep
we drift into the world of dreams.
Our mind makes up fantasies
through snippets of our daily life.
We dream of all sorts of things
some real, some imaginary.
We don’t always remember
all the things we dream about
when we walk through
that dream world of ours.

First I have to sleep...before I can dream....lol...and the ones I remember are bizarre...maybe I'm better off not dreaming...lol

Not sure i've ever heard it described so well. Check out Wm Blake's 'Land of Dreams' if you haven't already.

Sometimes David, we used dreams as scapegoat in the realities of life.We wanted to continue the unfinished wishes we felt inside, the hurts and the pains. If for only in a dream, we can be happy..what a sigh...Thanks for the sharing, David..I love this.. love, Meggie
