Dream Tricking... Poem by Frances Kay

Dream Tricking...

Woken up to you beside me, loved ~ but did not dare
Outstretch my hand, caress you there ~ lying on my hair
Your presence all around me shared, embracing
Auras dress ~ dancing fabrics, colors rich were tracing
Luminesce, transparency ~ drew clarity
In form to convalesce... solidarity
In polarity, attested Love was sworn
Determined for eternity... in Love locked, now airborne

For ages did I lie me there, still ~ you upon my hair
Till 8: 13, when other arm, I stretched a clock to share
The time of day... ‘twas 8: 14, I turned to hug you dear
A gasp of breath, a shadow's death ~ dispelled sworn atmosphere
A pa(i) ra(re) gon(e) with no swan song
No Krishna magic, in support... of Draupadi's sarong
Perpetuating golden path, in blood of morning stain
Her eyes saw not, dream's secret trick... that never he had lain
