Dream Liner Poem by Stephen Brian Brady

Dream Liner

overnight dream liner
they're imaging the walls
you on a high
recliner in the stalls

the usherettes fast-feed you
from mobile multi-bars
but speed is an illusion
halfway to the stars

listen to them holler
out there in the wings
no-one seems to foller
whatever it is they sing

though you say you can't remember
your ticket says you ride
and frame by frame you're flickering
from somewhere deep inside
