I close my eyes
I count these sheep
I hear my breath
I attempt to sleep

Then I wake up
In a new place
I see this woman
But not her face

I chase after her
Through disaster and fear
I'm running so fast
Yet can't get near

This dream is a chase
I'm in hot pursuit
Yet she's running away
Just out of my reach

I start to close in
Then start to get near
But she runs so fast
I'll lose her I fear

So I start to fall
Now I am awake
In panic and terror
Was this dream fake

Then I look left
I see her face
My dream girl is here
But I am awake……
