Dream Before Sleep Poem by Eoin Brennan

Dream Before Sleep

I am a broken man,
I'll try if I can,
I am a broken man,
I can't, I can't!

I feel the rain,
I feel the pain.
I feel the rain.
Falling down.

I bleed black blood.
Cold crimson flood.
I bleed black blood.
Falling down.

I am a broken man,
I'll try if I can,
I am a broken man,
I can't, I can't!

I found the cure.
So clean, so pure.
I found the cure.
My, mine, so white.

I'll murder for the heal,
Give it up, for what I feel.
I'll murder for the heal.
I'll die, I'll fight!

Black, shallow dead.
Changing in my head.
Life, Depth, Red.
My heart, I'm free!

Happy, My heart,
Free for My heart!
Freed from the enemy,
My calloused mind.
My saviour, My heart,
I love you, My heart.

No longer broken man,
cripple dies, I can.
Good ridance and thanks
for everything, for who I am!
