Ferrum Aquila
Dream
Deep within my sleep,
Deep within the dream last night.
I dream't that you love me back,
You looked into my weary tired eyes
And saw in them, what I lack.
You hugged me tight,
You held me close in your arms.
And felt my heart beating really weak,
You asked me if 'Are you alrite? Did it hurt really hard? '
But me, knowing it was a dream, I couldn't speak.
The very pain,
The very thought of knowing it's a dream.
Just flooded through my heart,
And I've forgotten the last time
I ever, felt that lost.
So within that moment,
That dreadful moment.
Of my ever wistful dream,
I woke myself in turmoil
Not knowing what it means.
Since that night,
No matter how much I tried.
To tell you how I felt,
The idea of losing your friendship, rather our aquintance
Took over everything else.
There's a beauty,
Childlike innocence in dreams,
When two lovers unite,
But then, anguish and sorrow
Comes with the morning light,
That old saying springs to mind,
Which I used to say all the time.
'Someday someone will come, and make my dreams come true',
I know it's you,
But still I don't know what to do.
Somehow for reasons unexplained,
The dream still haunts me.
Even after all this time from my heart and core
And in each dream I dream of thee
I'm loving you more and more.
But we don't live in my dreams,
We live in reality.
Where you don't belong to me
And by the grace of fate's cruelty
Maybe don't even remember me
And it's like losing my sky away,
Like I lost my lyfs aim.
Left a sheet of black,
No star light, no sunshine
No sign of you loving me back.
So
Deep within my sleep,
Deep within the dream last night.
I dream't - as dreamers do,
That I had what I want, no, what I need
And was living my lyf happily with you.
And though I am un-able to speak,
Not knowing whether ever will it come true.
My weary heart did show that tomorrow
I will always love you,
No matter what the sorrow
No matter what the pain
I'll always hold on to you
