Down Days Trying Poem by Jessie Jett

Down Days Trying

Day in, Day out.
Steady feel keep moving.
To hold strong.
To pass trial, pass hurt.
And so a sigh,
as days pass by.
But youre feet continue to try.
Battered and beaten.
Souls pushed aside.
Nothing good out of this life.
From this this I breathe,
passing just to be.
As it continues to melt.
Melting me.
So a sigh,
as days pass by.
And still,
you continue to try.

I have quite often had these thoughts about life-'trial and hurt'.The need to keep going 'battered and beaten' though you might be.
