Doves Of Dawn Poem by G J Salgado

Doves Of Dawn

When the moon sleeps upon the sunrise
Diamonds soon disappear from the skies

Soft whispers sing as the morning wakes
Essence in its own glory while the day breaks

Feel the sunrise upon the lonely sparrow's wings
Within the meadows as the lonesome dove sings

Until time found a way to make them a home
Soon the mother sparrow wouldn't be alone

Glowing in the shadows of the Autumn sun
The moon captured what they'll soon become

From midst of the haven the lightning came
Thunder danced within the moonlit forest reigns

Born of the daylight moon and the midnight sun
A mother and daughter bond that cannot be undone

Rising up through the air like angels among the wind
Sweet dreams are made of these brought from within

Wings of pearls are given unto the kingdoms heiress and her eldest spawn
Dreams as these born from blood of the sparrow as doves of dawn
