Double Helix

Take the twisted ladder and
Climb your way to heaven
Or slip ingloriously
Into the dungeons of hell
Man, you are destined
Either for greatness
Or for a fabulous fall
Wonder what shape
Was the ladder
That brought Lucifer down
Was it a Double Helix or
Perfectly Round
But either way
The zigzag sugary steps
Must have been the same
