Dorothy In The Land Of Oz Poem by Noah Body

Dorothy In The Land Of Oz

Rating: 5.0

Feeling like Dorothy in the land of Oz
I left my home just because

Split in three, each built a nest
One turned away each and every guest

Pieces were scattered all around
Which was real could not be found

Psychosis filled the besieged brain
Most likely brought on by the pain

Struggling insanely to escape
The evil dark and cold landscape

Planned to leave them all behind
Can't leave my brain I did find

Duct tape, monkey glue, maybe superglue
To hold them as one, not three or two

Breaking up was easy I confess
Restoring all to one - what a mess

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
During the latest round with the beast I started 3 new lives trying to escape everyone and leave them all behind. Now that normalcy is back the insanity of it all is nearly impossible to repair.3 different persons... hard to reintegrate
