Don't-Waste >>>> Poem by Manonton Dalan

Don't-Waste >>>>

there's too much food left
sandwiches in individual boxes
cake you have to wrap it
drinks still in small bottles
fits your side pockets, neat
I grab enough for lunch break

I remember when I used to throw
away food but one day I watch
movie about kids rummaging trash
cans looking for food to eat
ever since then I don't waste
I learn to get just right for me

I think there are many of us who have been guilty of not finishing our meal then pitching it. We live in a consume and discard society. A good message Manonton
