Don'T Want To Hear A Word About Love Poem by Guess Who

My long awaited love is left in the past
For this love was so intelligent
intelligent enough to reply to my message
Well it was my fault after all
I thought I had her for good
Too bad I was too desperate so I asked her out
I didn't expect her to be so sensible
Three words made the biggest fail in my life
I LOVE YOU was all i said
Ooh what a terrible reply i got
' Hearing what you've written I've decided.......
What? What have u decided?
I was extremely happy for the moment
I expected something good but what i received was this
'I've decided not to talk to you again.'
What, What is this supposed to mean?
Frozen in my place watching the computer screen
Trying to digest the message
Reading it again and again looking for traces
Looking for traces of love
Traces of hope, traces of life
But all what I found was horrible to describe
A mixture of hate, despair and death
Ugly letters forming ugly words leading to ugly sentence
This ugly sentence is what I received
So I call everyone reading this poem to choose the love carefully


Love to me is done for
Will i be able to find one like you
You loved me then left me behind
I told you everything about me
As not to fall into this
What can i say

I AM SORRY BECAUSE I LOVED YOU
BUT I WOULD BE HAPPY TO FIND OUT YOU STILL LOVE ME
THAT MOMENT OUR STORY SHALL CONTINUE
BUT FOR THE TIME BEING I DON'T WANT TO HEAR A WORD
