Don't Underestimate Me
I got to move on
Don't know how much longer I can take this
I need to make this count
Make no room for doubt
With the one chance I have at life
Ain't got much time
I got to make the first move
Got to get in the groove
In order to find success
I must try my best
So difficult when in constant conflict with myself
Avoiding life
And not wanting to deal with the strife
Yet I have to face the truth
That out there awaits my purpose in life that I must do
Cannot let anyone hold me back
Got to make the move to stay on track
All these years, I let fear get the best of me
All this time I let others choose who I am to be
But it isn't right
I must learn to stand up and fight
Must let myself be heard
Without getting burned
To use the lessons I've learned
In order to rise above all the rest
To try and pass the final test
So you might think im fuckin stupid
And maybe even deluded
But hey
Whether you like it or not
I think I'm perfectly suited
Because I know where I stand
Right by God's right hand
And I don't give a damn what you think
So don't underestimate me
And that my friends
Is what I've concluded.
