Don'T Play Poem by Timothy Branch

Don'T Play

Don't play with words. Words are nothing to play with. Words don't play but cut to the chase, lay waste and disgrace ones loosed from an uncontrolled open space. Wise ones make wise. Ignorant ones cause others to despise such injurous words. Use your words wisely. Let none be used to tear down or dissuade a confident one. Use your words to enlighten one about the Way, the Truth and the Life or to help somebody choose life. Don't play with words. Truth heard leads to conviction, a perfectly executed arrest and being taken into custody by way of the Firstborn of many brethren. Rights waived to become righteousness' slave and all this originated from words that were not played with. Packaged and laced with grace wrought more goodness than grandma's best favorite cake or pie taste. To taste and see that the Lord is good it comes by way of understanding the word of the Lord is good. All that from a taste to see? That's why it's not good to play with words. Somebody's waiting for those very timely words.
