Don'T Play That Game With Me Poem by Marcquiese Burrell

Don'T Play That Game With Me

Don't play that game with me
It brings about break up officailly
Those days that I once knew
Gone away right along with you
Oh no, don't you play
It create nothing but pain
Please stop with your selfish ways
I remember the thing you've done
You've held me 'round the waiste
When you show you don't care
I really think, you love me
When you're not playing fair
I really think, you love me
Don't you go and lie, Don't you make me cry?

I think back on that first date
Try to love you, you pull away
You've come around a little too late
When in truth, I wanted you to stay

Why pretend? When you know that you do
We're here again, Don't you know I love you?
Why pretend? Don't play that game with me
