Don'T Know Me Poem by Brittney West

Don'T Know Me

You can say you know me
I doubt you really do,
There's much more than the eye can see
I am things you never knew,
Don't judge me before you know me
Or you will be missing out,
On things you thought I couldn't be
I am different, there's no doubt,
Unless the time is taken to
Listen and see my way,
You have no right to do
The things you thought you may,
Say the things that you will
And you will never know,
Your thoughts on me can remain still
My emotions will not show.
