Don't Cry Baby

Don't cry baby,
Because I will never let you out my mind,
I hear your voice,
I hear your cries,
I see pain in your eyes,
It's hard to describe what your going through,
It strikes you at any time.

Don't cry baby,
Because I will keep you in my prayers,
I will lift your spirit higher,
I'll send you a message from my heart to yours,
Because I love you,
I will answer all your prayers.

Don't cry baby,
because you have a friend in me.

Poet's Notes about The Poem

I was just doing my English project which was writing poems and I made this one up myself. I wrote this at home in my bedroom and I dedicate this to my boyfriend who has recently lost his granddad. I can thank my English teacher and the poet Aldo Kraas for inspiration.

Poem of the Day

poet Christina Georgina Rossetti

Go from me, summer friends, and tarry not:
I am no summer friend, but wintry cold,
A silly sheep benighted from the fold,
A sluggard with a thorn-choked garden plot.
