Don't be afraid
Change is good
An uncomfortable feeling
As your universe expands
To chase the first light of dawn
To be your own best friend
To surrender the past
And just BE
The mirror a silent witness
As age takes hold
Every line telling the story
Of sorrow and despair
Of laughter and smiles
at some point shared
You are alive
A gift so precious you now realize
So don't be scared
Lift your face to the sun
Breathe in the intoxicating
feeling of content
Smell a flower
Sing from your soul
Soar as an Eagle
and you'll be whole
