Don And Jill Poem by Vera Sidhwa

Don And Jill

Don and Jill
Were masters of life
But couldn't do
Without each other.

They couldn't stay
Without each other.
When asked why
They couldn't reply.

It seemed they were one
And couldn't survive alone.
There they were shaky
And couldn't function.

I asked them they should
Be on their own first.
They didn't reply.
But Don and Jill split apart and said good bye.
