Dolly
Ever prayed to rain dolls?
And not drops of water
Well I did as a farmer’s daughter
But it didn’t go far
When a rich man’s wife
Gave me dolls when I was 5
And throw it up
Happily to catch it I jump
Until it hit me hard
Even I couldn’t stand
And thanked God for
Not raining dolls
But water..
Wise enough in drops.
