Does It Matter? Poem by Brandon Azuoma

Does It Matter?

Rating: 5.0

RIP
Rest in peace
Rest with ease
All throughout life we live just to please
Make others happy, and pay our fees
Foolishly we don’t understand
Nor do we have a plan
We don’t realize
What we are meant to do
How can you do what you don’t know?
Does that make sense?
Does it matter?
What matters in the world today?
NOTHING
We’re born equals, but slave for others
We don’t realize that WE
ARE
ALL
EQUALS
We’re all equals in the eyes of death.
Or are we?
Does that make sense?
Does it matter?
What matters anymore?
Nothing
I guess
Death comes around
Death never leaves
We just forget death
But eventually welcome death again
There will never be a way to stop death
Maybe avoid
Maybe forget
MAYBE
If we live life to the fullest
We can forget … We can move on
But death will never be gone
Does that make sense?
Does it matter?
