Doe een strikje om jezelf

Van tijd tot tijd
wat vriendelijkheid
mijn hele leven geef ik
beleef ik als een zegen
een vriendenregen
en heel veel tegenwind
maar dat ik hen telkens vermag
uit te pakken doet me beseffen
hoezeer ik mens ben gebleven
en bovenal een kind
dat telkens weer
door weer en wind
en overal
cadeautjes vind.

Poem of the Day

poet Sir Thomas Wyatt

Farewell love and all thy laws forever;
Thy baited hooks shall tangle me no more.
Senec and Plato call me from thy lore
To perfect wealth, my wit for to endeavour.
